Lead, plan and mobilise the manpower, build capacity & capability including acquire required resources to deliver project with HSSE excellence.
- Lead, plan, develop / review and implement Safety Management Plan
- Lead to communicate and align all partners and staff, and Contractors in performance to achieve safety targets and objectives.
- Lead, develop and implement Action Plans to close gaps to achieve basic good practices in Hydropower Sustainability Standard in Public Health and Public Emergency Response Plan involving Project Affected Community (PAC), Labor and Working Conditions involving worker welfare & Amenities, Environmental Impact Control, Waste Management, Noise and Air Quality, Biodiversity, Invasive Species etc.
- Lead, plan and ensure effective communication and enforcement of safety contractual and regulatory requirement including consequence management
- Lead, develop and implement site intervention plan covering safety Inspection, Audit, Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Control (HIRARC), Top Management Site Walkabout, Safety Week Campaign, training, and other related programs.
- Lead to plan and implement the monitoring & integration of Safety performance through safety Leading / Lagging Indicators, Monthly Reporting, Contractor Performance Evaluation, Monthly Meeting, HEP safety Steering Committee Quarterly Meeting, etc.
- Lead, plan and conduct accident/incident investigations, prepare report and present to top management including the relevant authorities (if required), and to ensure corrective/preventive measures are effectively implemented within the required time.
- Lead, plan and conduct competency trainings, monitor and ensure Contractor comply to mandatory regulatory requirements on competence persons at site.
- Lead, plan and work closely with authorities, consultants and all stakeholders including resolving complaints from public concerning HSSE.
