Job Responsibilities
- Acting as the Risk Champion for PT Adaro Andalan Indonesia Tbk and delivering regular training and awareness programs to Risk Champions across Adaro Group to strengthen risk awareness throughout the organization.
- Assisting the Board of Directors in developing and updating the risk management policies and frameworks/manuals of Adaro Group, as well as cascading these across the Group’s business units.
- Coordinating and facilitating the risk management process within Adaro Group, including: Supporting business units in setting objectives and articulating missions aligned with the Group’s direction, along with establishing key indicators (KPIs); Guiding periodic risk assessments and ensuring timely reporting of business unit risk profiles; and Providing recommendations on potential risks and appropriate risk management strategies.
- Consolidating business unit risk profile reports across Adaro Group into the overall risk profile report of PT Adaro Andalan Indonesia Tbk, and presenting these to the Board of Directors and Audit Committee on a regular basis.
- Advising the Board of Directors on the expected standards of risk management behavior and practices.
- Supporting internal and external audit processes, as well as responding to regulatory inquiries related to risk management.
- Supporting the internal annual reporting as well as the sustainability reporting processes for PT Adaro Andalan Indonesia Tbk.
- Ensuring that all documentation and records related to risk management are prepared comprehensively, accurately, and kept up to date.
- Serving as a member of the Crisis Management Team of PT Adaro Andalan Indonesia Tbk.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mining, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Geotechnical, Geological, Industrial, etc.), Law, Economics, Business Administration, or other relevant fields.
- Minimum 6 years of experience as a Risk Management Specialist/Assistant Manager/Manager, preferably within the energy industry.
- Strong understanding of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) principles, ISO 31000 standards, and/or the COSO framework.
- Advanced knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, such as PDCA and Six Sigma.
- Possession of professional certifications in risk management as well as knowledge about Climate Risk Assessment and IFRS S1 and S2 reporting will be considered an advantage.
