Job Responsibilities
- Storage Management: Monitor and manage tank levels, ensuring adequate capacity for incoming shipments and maintaining the integrity of stored materials.
- Lead the loading and unloading operations at the Jetty, coordinating closely with vessel crews, surveyors, and terminal operations.
- Conduct regular tank gauging (manual or automated) and calculate volumes to ensure accurate inventory records and identify any discrepancies/losses.
- Quality Assurance: Assist in sampling and testing of materials to ensure they meet specifications before and after transfer operations.
- Perform routine inspections of tanks, pumps, valves, piping systems, and firefighting equipment within the tank farm area.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Marine Engineering preferred).
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Tank Farm or Jetty operations (Oil & Gas, Bulk Chemicals, or Mining industry).
- Certifications: Having certifications in K3 Migas, PPS (Pengawas Perpindahan Satuan), or Loading Master certification is a significant advantage.
- Skills: Proficient in tank gauging calculations, understanding of pump operations, and knowledge of maritime terminal safety standards.
