Job Responsibilities
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets in real-time and ensure all expenditures are aligned with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) or Project Budget.
- Cost Estimation & Forecasting: Estimate costs for materials, energy consumption, and labor, while providing accurate financial forecasts for upcoming periods.
- Process Efficiency Analysis: Analyze the correlation between technical parameters (e.g., chemical reagent consumption or fuel usage) and actual costs to identify and eliminate operational inefficiencies.
- Variance Analysis: Identify and investigate discrepancies between planned budget and actual spending (Actual vs. Budget), providing data-driven recommendations for corrective actions.
- Cost Reporting: Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly cost reports for management, including Cost Performance Index (CPI) and Schedule Performance Index (SPI) analysis.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas).
- Familiarity with Cost Engineering concepts (Earned Value Management, NPV, IRR).
- Ability to interpret industrial process flows (PFD/P&ID) to understand cost drivers.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong numerical logic and the ability to translate technical data into clear financial insights.
