Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate power generation equipment and auxiliary systems according to established procedures
- Perform regular equipment inspections and rounds to identify potential issues
- Record operational data and maintain accurate logs of all activities
- Respond to alarms and abnormal conditions following emergency protocols
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel to facilitate equipment repairs and maintenance
- Support start-up and shutdown operations as required
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and emission standards
- Implement safety protocols and participate in safety drills
- Assist in troubleshooting operational problems
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (minimum); technical education or relevant degree preferred
- Previous experience in power generation, industrial operations, or related field preferred
- Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or chemical systems based on specific role
- Understanding of power generation principles and processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and procedures
- Proficiency with computerized control systems and basic computer applications
