Job Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the chemical operations team in daily operations
- Monitor, control, and optimize water chemistry parameters according to industry standards
- Operate and maintain water treatment systems, including demineralization plants and condensate polishing units
- Conduct routine chemical analyses and interpret results
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to water chemistry
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety protocols
- Prepare detailed operational reports and maintain accurate records
- Provide technical guidance to assistant operators
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Strong understanding of power plant chemistry and water treatment processes
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency in relevant computer applications and control systems
- Experience working in a power plant environment
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Certification in water treatment operations
